Andrew Harrison retires as Chief Agriculture Officer; Dr. Victoriano Pascual takes over

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) on Monday announced the retirement of former Chief Agriculture Officer Andrew Harrison from active service in the Ministry.

“MAFSE thanks “Chief” Harrison for his many years of dedication and service and wishes him well in all his future endeavours,” said the Agriculture Ministry in a social media post.

Harrison has been Chief Agriculture Officer since 2016. He entered the public service 32 years ago.

His retirement becomes effective in July.

With Harrison’s retirement, comes a replacement.

“At the same time MAFSE announces that Dr. Victoriano Pascual, formerly Director of Water Management and Climate Change, now assumes duties as Acting Chief Agriculture Officer,” said MAFSE.
