Belize Weather: Sunny start to week but change coming

Generally fair weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells and tonight cloudy at times; showers will be isolated.

High temperatures today peak at 88 degrees along the coast, 94 degrees inland and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight, it will be 80 degrees along the coast, 71 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. Sea state is choppy with waves of three to five feet.

Tides will be low at 11:56 this morning and high at 6:15 this evening. The sun sets at 6:11 this evening and rises at 5:30 Tuesday morning.

Skies will be cloudy in spells on Tuesday with a few coastal showers.
