An east to northeasterly airflow will support moist and unstable conditions, according to the National Meteorological Service.
The 24-hour forecast is for sunny skies today with cloudy intervals. Tonight, skies will be cloudy. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly along coastal areas this morning and then move to inland areas during the afternoon and evening. Tonight and tomorrow morning, expect outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms to develop over most areas.
High temperatures peak along the coast at 86 degrees Fahrenheit; 90 degrees over inland areas; and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees over inland areas; and 64 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.
Tides will be high at 7:23 this morning and 7:25 this evening, with a low tide at 1:10 this afternoon. Sunset occurs at 6:11 this evening and the sun rises Wednesday morning at 5:28.
The extended outlook for Wednesday and Wednesday night is for cloudy skies with outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms over most areas.
