Belize Weather: April showers

The National Meteorological Service projects cloudy skies at times today, with showers, a few thunderstorms and periods of rain countrywide this morning, continuing especially over southern and inland areas this afternoon then decreasing inland tonight.

High temperatures are 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 89 degrees inland and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 77 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots; the sea will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

High tides occur at 7:57 this morning and 8:21 this evening; a low tide occurs at 2:10 this afternoon.

Thursday sees a few showers and isolated thunderstorms at first, decreasing by afternoon.
