Orange Walk farmer charged with multiple counts of unlawful sexual intercourse against minor staying with him

By Aaron Humes: A 42-year-old farmer from Orange Walk District has been charged with seven counts of unlawful sexual intercourse against one of two minor sisters who had been staying with him.

The older of the girls, 15, told police that she and her sister had been staying with the accused since October of 2020.

She alleged that she and the accused had been having sexual relations since September of 2021, and related five occasions up to April 22 in which she had had intercourse with the accused.

A medical examination subsequently certified carnal knowledge.
