Prime Minister John Briceño is today on an official visit to Cuba.
The Prime Minister left for Cuba on Tuesday afternoon.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a Belize delegation comprising Eamon Courtenay, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Immigration; Kevin Bernard, Minister of Health and Wellness; Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries; Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations; and Ambassador Amalia Mai, Chief Executive Officer, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.
The Prime Minister is expected to return to Belize on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
Deputy Prime Minister Cordel Hyde is acting as Prime Minister. Hyde is also Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining.
