BREAKING: Security guard at Super Q Mart in San Ignacio shot; gun stolen

By BBN Staff: A security guard in San Ignacio was shot a short while ago.

The security guard was working at Super Q Mart on Bullet Tree road in San Ignacio when the incident occurred.

Residents in the area report that multiple shots were heard and that the security guard was injured by at least one shot. The injured man was rushed to the San Ignacio hospital for treatment.

The store’s surveillance camera shows that one man approached and pointed a gun at the security guard. He then shot at the guard several times, stole his gun, and made good his escape.
