By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Group A leaders El Salvador and Nicaragua fight for the top spot at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan on Thursday at 4:15 pm in the UNCAF U19 FIFA FORWARD Central American Championship.
El Salvador lead Group A with six points from a 2-0 victory over Honduras and a 5-1 thumping of Belize 5-1. Nicaragua have four points from a 2-2 draw with Belize and a 2-1 win over Honduras.
A win for either team gives them top spot and the right to fight for the regional championship in the final game on Saturday. A draw favours El Salvador.
The other group match features Belize and Honduras at 7:00 pm at the FFB Stadium.
