Toyota Hilux stolen in Unitedville home invasion recovered

By Benjamin Flowers: A Toyota Hilux stolen on Wednesday night during a home invasion in Unitedville Village, Cayo District, was recovered earlier today.

The vehicle owner, Rolando Gonzalez reported that he and his wife Magale Gonzalez arrived at their home around 9:10 p.m., last night when an orange vehicle pulled up in his yard.

Five armed men wearing masks got out of the car and one of them held up his 13-year-old son at gunpoint while the others demanded money from Gonzalez.

When he told them he didn’t have any money they demanded his car keys and took his vehicle. The vehicle was found in some bushes in the vicinity of Jaguar Paw this morning.

Police are investigating.
