Belize Weather: Conditions rapidly improving entering holiday weekend

Levels of moisture are decreasing over our area according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight, with showers isolated.

High temperatures today peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees in inland areas and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots. The sea will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.

Tides will be high at 8:56 this morning and 9:53 this evening and low at a quarter to four this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:12 this evening and rises at 5:27 Saturday morning.

Saturday sees a return to mainly fair weather with isolated showers if any.
