By Aaron Humes: After a back-and-forth week, Belize ends with 136 active cases of COVID-19 at the end of April after six more new cases were added today, while seven persons were declared recovered.

A further 129 samples are under investigation as Belize approaches 57,500 total cases, of which more than 56,600 have recovered.

While no new deaths have been reported, six persons remain hospitalized of which two are fully vaccinated and the others are of undeclared status.

The new cases were reported in Belize City (three), Dangriga Town and the Toledo villages of San Antonio and San Pedro Columbia.
