The Hydrology Unit in the Ministry of Natural Resources recognized Alberto Gutierrez and Harold Westby for their significant contributions in seeding, harvesting, and preservation of water, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise (MAFSE).
The recognition came after the Hydrology Unit called for nominations in connection with World Water Day, which was celebrated on March 22, 2022. The Hydrology Unit at the Ministry of Natural Resources teamed up with several other sponsors and collaborators in an effort to give recognition to individuals for their contributions to seeding, harvesting and preservation of water in our planet.
MAFSE said Horticulture Coordinator Gary Ramirez nominated two veterans, Gutierrez and Westby, for their work on Water Catchment, Drainage, and Irrigation Systems,
‘Gut’ and Harry, as they are affectionately known, won the awards in the individual category.
MAFSE congratulated Gutierrez and Westby wishing them well as they continue working hard in agriculture.
