Police find almost a pound of crack cocaine in Dangriga

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Police Department, through operations in Dangriga this week, took almost a pound of crack cocaine off the streets.

On Wednesday, between 5:10 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., officers conducted operations in rural areas of Dangriga, where they found a yellow flare gun plastic container inside were two plastic bags and one Ziploc bag.

One of the plastic bags contained 87 grams of crack, while the other bag contained 11 small Ziploc bags with a total of 246 grams of crack, and the larger Ziploc bag contained 102 grams for a total of 435 grams (0.95 pounds).
