By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Tickets to visit El Pilar Archaeological Reserve will be sold exclusively at Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve in San Ignacio, said the Institute of Archaeology NICH.
On Thursday, the Institute of Archaeology NICH sent an advisory to tour operators, tour guides, and everyone as of Tuesday, May 3, 2022, the ticket sales for El Pilar will no longer be done at El Pilar, that they will now be conducted at Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve.
The Institute of Archaeology NICH said the Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve will now be open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.
