The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect southern and central Belize this morning, decreasing this afternoon and then returning in the south tonight, however they will be isolated elsewhere.
High temperatures along the coast are 87 degrees Fahrenheit; in the interior 94 degrees and in the hills 80 degrees. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots. The sea will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.
Tides will be high at 10:18 this morning and 11:49 tonight, and low at a quarter to six this evening. The sun sets at 6:13 this evening, rising Tuesday morning at 5:26.
Tuesday sees cloudy skies at times with a few showers over most areas, decreasing to isolated activity Tuesday night.
