Jewel Fury trounce Verdes Rebels 6-1 in NAWL A Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Jewel Fury trounced Verdes Rebels 6-1 in the National Amateur Women’s League A (NAWL A) Championship at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio on Saturday.

Khalydia Velasquez led Jewel Fury with four consecutive goals after the initial brace converted by Fatima Romero.

Shanalee Flowers converted the lone strike for Verdes.

Jewel Fury now have four points from three matches moving up to third place behind Rumberas and Sagitun GIRLZ and ahead of the San Pedro Pirates and the Verdes Rebels. San Pedro also have four points but from four games. Verdes are in last place with one point from three matches.
