By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Cycling Federation of BELIZE (CFB) has named three cyclists as the National Team that will represent Belize at the upcoming first U23 Caribbean Games (CG) to be held in Guadeloupe from June 29 to July 3, 2022.
The three U23 riders are Caribbean Junior Champion Derrick Chavarria of the 501 Valvoline Cycling Team, Shawn Codd of G-Flow Cycling Team, and Eric Trapp of the Westrac Alliance Cycling Team.
The CFB has also named a list of five alternate riders who will substitute any of the three selected riders if one or more of them cannot go to the U23 Caribbean Games.
The alternate list comprises: Tevin Chaplin (G-Flow), Kevin Gentle (C-Town Racing Team), Jyven Gonzalez (G-Flow), Gian Lino (G-Flow), and Mairon Muñoz (501 Valvoline).
