Police recover church’s sound system stolen during Easter holiday

By Benjamin Flowers: San Ignacio police have recovered a sound system stolen from Holy Ghost Church in Esperanza Village last month.

Police say that yesterday officers searched a bushy area in the village and discovered a large, black travel bag containing a Podium Amplifier, a Crown XLS 2500 Amplifier, and a Super X Pro crossover.

The pastor of the church Matthias Hill was called in to positively identify that the items were those stolen from his church.

The items were stolen during a burglary sometime between Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
