Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital gets over $20,000 worth of equipment from MedSafe

By Benjamin Flowers: The Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital Laboratory has a new PCR testing machine courtesy of the pharmaceutical company MedSafe.

MedSafe’s representative Jessica Resendiz and her team handed over the new PCR test machine and cartridges to CEO of the KHMHA Chandra Nisbet-Cansino and the KHMHA Lab Manager Mrs. Carol Landaverde on Wednesday.

Following the handing over, lab staff participated in a demonstration and training exercise.

“The KHMHA is appreciative of this thoughtful donation from a socially responsible partner such as MedSafe and we look forward to the various benefits the KHMH will receive with the addition of this machine to our Stat Lab in the fight against SARS COV-2,” the KHMH said.

The equipment was valued at over $20,000.
