Missing Emir Cansino Jr.’s body found off John Smith Road

By Benjamin Flowers: The search for missing Emir Cansino Jr. came to a tragic end as our newsroom has confirmed his body was discovered in an area off the John Smith Link Road earlier today.

A member of Cansino’s family reportedly confirmed to police that it was his body.

Cansino was last seen leaving home to attend Park Fest at the BTL Park in Belize City on Sunday night but had not been seen or heard from since.

Several search parties were formed to look for him, many of them concentrated in the Western Paradise Community, located at Mile 8 on the George Price Highway.

The matter is now under police investigation.
