Belize Weather: Weekend weather fair and warm

Generally fair weather continues according to the National Meteorological Service.

Over the next 24 hours, skies will be sunny with cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight. Except for the chance of isolated thunderstorms over the Maya Mountains this afternoon, little or no rainfall will develop.

High temperatures are 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 96 degrees in the interior and 82 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight are 82 degrees along the coast; 75 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots; sea state is choppy, with waves of three to five feet.

Tides will be low at 7:22 this morning and 9:58 this evening, and high at 1:43 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:14 this evening and rises on Sunday morning at 5:23.

Outlook for Sunday and Sunday night is for fair weather with little or no rainfall.
