Jewel Fury-Rumberas, Sagitun-Verdes Rebel Girls play Saturday in National Amateur Women’s League A

The National Amateur Women’s League A continues with two games on Saturday.

The main match which Rumberas call the ‘National Clasico’, features National Champions Jewel Fury against National Subchampions and present leaders Rumberas at 4:00 pm at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium in Belmopan.

Jewel Fury have struggled this season and are presently in the third position with four points lagging behind Rumberas, who sit at the top with seven points, and the Sagitun GIRLZ.

The first game on Saturday features the Sagitun GIRLZ and the Verdes Rebel Girls. The match starts at 3:00 pm at the Michael Ashcroft in Independence.

The Sagitun GIRLZ are in second position with six points while Verdes Rebels are in last place with only one point.

All the four teams are playing their fourth game of the championship. The San Pedro Pirates, who are in fourth place with four points and who have already played four games, are resting this weekend.
