16-0: Bay City whip Corozal United Warriors mercilessly

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Bay City keep powering their way over the competition in the National Amateur Women’s League B (NAWL B). On Saturday, they demolished the Corozal United Warriors 16-0.

Bay City scored six goals in the first half and added ten more in the second.

Anahie Blanco led the onslaught with six goals scored in the 20’,24’, 27’, 39’, 50, and 54’.

Kaite Jones, who initiated the punishment in the 7’, got a hattrick with her other two goals coming in the 35’ and 88’.

Alisha Terry accounted for a brace in the 47’ and 56’ while Shante Chacon did likewise in the 66’ and 71.

The other three goals were scored by Ashari Zuniga in the 59’, Darina Tzul in the 70’, and Marcia Ara in the 89’.

Bay City FC now lead NAWL B with 12 points from four games and an impressive 38 goals scored with none allowed. The Warriors have played three matches and don’t have any points. They have scored a goal yet but have allowed 23..
