Manhunt underway for Christon Rocha over aggravated assault in Placencia

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating Honduran national Christon Rocha, who is wanted in connection with an aggravated assault in Placencia last month.

Police say that Rocha is the prime suspect in the brutal stabbing of 38-year-old Vanessa Reyes.

It is alleged that in the early morning of April 17, Rocha and Reyes got into an altercation, and he left, returning with a knife shortly after and stabbing her in the face.

He has been on the run since and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to report it by calling 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
