Belize Weather: Another hot day, but cooldown coming

The weather continues to be warm and dry per the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be mostly sunny and tonight partly cloudy. There may be a chance of an isolated thunderstorm over the mountains and along the western border this afternoon but otherwise, there will be little to no rain in the forecast.

High temperatures along the coast peak at 87 degrees Fahrenheit; 96 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures range from 80 degrees along the coast to 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 10 to 20 knots. The sea will be choppy with waves of three to five feet.

There will be a low tide at 11:39 this morning and a high tide at 5:27 this evening. The sun sets at a quarter past six this evening and sunrise on Wednesday is at 5:22.

Skies will be cloudy at times on Wednesday with isolated showers developing.
