Deadline to register for Belize Athletics Association National Championship is Wednesday, May 11

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Athletics Association National Championship said the deadline to register for its National Championships is Wednesday, May 11 at 11:59 pm.

The BAA noted that no late registration will be accepted.

The BAA said the 2022 National Track and Field Championships are this weekend, May 14-15, at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex in Belize City.

The events include 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, long jump, triple jump, high jump, javelin, discus, and shot put.

To compete, athletes must be 16 years old or older.

The BAA stated that athletes who plan on competing may access the registration forms by email at [email protected], from the Belize Athletics Association’s Facebook page, or at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex.

The completed registration forms should be sent to the BAA by email or to their Facebook page ‘Belize Athletics Association’.

The registration fee is $10.00 per athlete.
