Belize Weather: Fair and warm weather continues

The National Meteorological Service says an east to northeasterly airflow prevails, supporting sunny skies with a few cloudy spells.

Skies will be partly cloudy tonight; showers will be generally isolated except for afternoon or evening thunderstorms over the mountains and some inland areas.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 96 degrees over inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 79 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are east to northeast at 5 to 15 knots. The sea will be slight with waves one to three feet high.

Tides are high at 7:07 this morning and 7:40 this evening and low at 1:38 this afternoon. Sunset occurs at 6:16 this evening and sunrise on Friday morning is at 5:21.

Continued fair weather prevails on Friday with only isolated showers expected.
