Agric is back – new signs posted at Showgrounds

By Aaron Humes: The National Agriculture and Trade Show is less than two weeks away from a triumphant return.

To get ready, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise has posted new signage at the usual venue, the National Showgrounds on the Hummingbird Highway entering Belmopan.

On social media, the Ministry said the new sign not only welcomes visitors to the Showgrounds but also to Belmopan itself.

The sign reads ‘Welcome to Belmopan’ in large letters, followed by ‘and the National Agriculture and Trade Show Grounds’ in smaller letters below, with a sponsor sign from Digi at the top left.

Below is a banner proclaiming ‘We’re back’ with the dates for the National Agriculture and Trade Show – May 27 to 29 – and the 50th-anniversary logo.

The Show will honor farmers up and down the country and bring together the best of Belizean agriculture, trade, and culture in the national capital.
