Fair, warm and dry weather continues according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies today will be sunny and tonight partly cloudy; except for the chance of thunderstorms over the Maya Mountains this afternoon, little or no rainfall is expected.
High temperatures peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 97 degrees in inland areas; and 83 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect. Residents, especially those living inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activities during the daytime as much as possible.
Winds are easterly at five to ten knots. The sea will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.
Tides will be high this morning at 8:45 and this evening at 10:21 and low at 4:02 this evening. The sun sets at 6:17 this evening and rises at 5:20 Monday morning.
Generally fair weather is expected to continue on Monday, with little or no rainfall.
