By Benjamin Flowers: Twenty-one-year-old Steve Ferrel was shot on Rasta Street last night and police believe they may have found the weapon used to do it.
Just after 8:00 p.m., Ferrel was riding his bicycle in the direction of Central American Boulevard when three men came out of a yard and fired several shots at him.
Ferrel was hit to the upper left thing and the left foot and was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment. He is listed as being in stable condition.
Following the incident, police conducted searches of the surrounding area and recovered a .9mm pistol with serial number 34967, in an empty lot on Neal Pen Road.
The weapon had an extended magazine that contained three live rounds.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
