BREAKING: Police officer shot, another injured in late night aggravated burglary in San Ignacio

By BBN Staff: Late night information to Breaking Belize News (BBN) is that there was an aggravated burglary that occurred a short while ago in San Ignacio, Cayo District.

Information is a bit sketchy at this time, but reports to BBN is that police responded to the burglary in progress and in the ensuing encounter a police officer was shot, and another injured by a moving vehicle.
