Cancer Walk 2022 returns; get your official t-shirts now!

By Aaron Humes: The annual Cancer Walk 2022 will take place a week later than its traditional last Saturday of May date, on June 4.

That gives you approximately two weeks to get your official Cancer Walk T-shirts from the Belize Cancer Society and official partner Print Inc, but get moving as they tend to fly off the shelves rather quickly.

Shirts are available in unisex regular, v-neck, long and short-sleeve drifit, women’s cut v-neck, and women’s raceback drifit tank and in colors of white, black, grey, athletic heather, and silver in prices ranging from $35 to $50 each and in sizes ranging from extra small (XS) to triple extra-large (3XL). Your business logo may be added for three dollars more per shirt.

To get yours, email the completed order form and proof of payment to [email protected]; WhatsApp 672-0922; visit the Cancer Society office on Mercy Lane, Belize City; or make cheques out to the society or deposits to Atlantic Bank account 100260085 and provide same to the Society. Large orders are best before May 20 while shirts will be available for purchase up to the day before the walk on June 3.

This year’s route is entirely within Belize City rather than the usual and much longer Ladyville to Belize City distance, starting from the Marion Jones Stadium, Princess Margaret Drive, around the flag monument, and over the Belcan Bridge to Central American Boulevard, down to Caesar Ridge Road, Yarborough Road, Regent Street, right onto North Front Street, Fort Street, Marine Parade, Newtown Barracks and back onto Princess Margaret Drive to finish at Marion Jones.

The proceeds from the t-shirt sales go to the work of the Society in helping cancer patients.
