Ministry of Health & Wellness receives large air cargo of medical equipment and supplies from World Hope International of Boston

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health & Wellness said on Friday that it has received a large air cargo of medical equipment and supplies from World Hope International of Boston, United States.

The MOHW said the items which were donated by Word Hope International include surgical lights, emergency supplies, gynecology instruments and supplies, surgical and orthopedic instruments and supplies, crutches, commodes, gowns, and intravenous stands.

“Special thanks to the CEO, World Hope International, Mr. John Lyons. We also thank the Security Cooperation Office at the United States Embassy Belize and also the US Southern Command,” said the MOHW.

The donation was received at the Philip S. W. Goldson International airport by Dr Javier Zuniga, Director of the MOHW’s Planning and Project Management Unit and Manuel Matus, noted the MOHW Director of Projects.
