Singers Rihanna, A$AP Rocky welcome baby boy

By Aaron Humes: According to CNN, Barbadian singer Rihanna (Robyn Rihanna Fenty, 34) and American rapper A$AP Rocky (Rakim Athelaston Mayers, 33) have welcomed their first child, reportedly a baby boy according to TMZ.

Rihanna first revealed her pregnancy in January but no public announcement has been made of the child’s name or birth date.

The couple, who first went public with their romantic relationship a year ago after being friends for many years, have both previously shared plans to become parents.

Rihanna told British Vogue in 2020 that her 10-year plan included children: “I’ll have kids — three or four of ’em,” she said, adding “the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”

A$AP Rocky called her “the love of my life” during an interview with GQ, adding that fatherhood was “in my destiny, absolutely.”

“I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad,” he said. “I would have a very fly child. Very.”
