Santa Elena Strikers host NAWL B leaders Bay City in Cayo on Sunday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Santa Elena Strikers host the National Amateur Women’s League (NAWL) B leaders Bay City in Cayo on Sunday.

The match plays at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio at 4:00 pm.

Bay City visit the Santa Elena Strikers after five consecutive wins leading the NAWL B with 15 points. They have scored an impressive 44 goals, for an average of 8.8 goals pers game. What’s more, they haven’t allowed any goals yet.

The Strikers have been struggling having won one game out of four so far. The three points have them in fourth place over the hapless Corozal United Warriors who are meeting second place Cayo Dreamers on Saturday at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan.
