Kaite Jones scores four goals, leads Bay City in 9-0 belting of Santa Elena Strikers in NAWL B

Kaite Jones scored an impressive four goals to lead Bay City in their 9-0 belting of the Santa Elena Strikers in NAWL B at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio on Sunday.

Jones found the target in the 17’, 66’, 76’, and 90’+1. She now has nine goals to her credit and is the second top scorer in NAWL B behind her teammate, Anahie Blanco, who converted two goals in the 6’ and 18’. Top scorer Blanco now has 15 goals.

Blanco scored six in the 16-0 drubbing of the Corozal United Warriors on May 7. Jones scored a hat-trick then.

Miriam Villamil nailed Santa Elena twice in the 21’ and 34’. The other goal came from Darina Tzul in the 88’. Tzul has now scored six goals in the NAWL B championship.

Bay City now has 18 points from six consecutive victories leading the NAWL B undefeated.

The Santa Elena Strikers are in fifth place with three points from a win and four losses.
