BREAKING: Police arrest Jermain Zuniga in chopping murder

By Aaron Humes: Police have announced the arrest of Libertad resident Jermain Zuniga, 36.

He is accused of the murder of Juan Arturo Mendez on Sunday in Concepcion, Corozal, while staying at his residence, and inflicting severe chop wounds on Wendy Mendez, who remains hospitalized.

According to police, Mendez told Zuniga to leave, which he refused, and an argument began that led to the double chopping and murder.

The police investigation continues.
