By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is continuing its work of upgrading road infrastructure countrywide, with the latest upgrades coming to the Orange Walk District.
The MIDH announced this week that crews have been dispatched to August Pine Ridge in Orange Walk, to improve the quality of the roads there for local residents.
“There are an awesome amount of roads and streets in our rural communities, but every resource we have available will always be put to good use, serving our residents. This bit of spot patching and grading will allow residents and visitors to move safely and in comfort,” the MIDH said.
Earlier this month the Ministry sent teams to assist the Belize City Council with road works on the south side of the city, which had much-needed repairs.
The ministry continues these works in tandem with its other projects such as delivering homes to low-income families.
