BELTRAIDE hosts Export Competitiveness Forum with support from the Commonwealth Secretariat

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: BELTRAIDE hosted an Export Competitiveness Forum with support from the Commonwealth Secretariat on Thursday.

According to Prime Minister John Briceño, BELTRAIDE, under the Ministry of Investment, hosted Belize’s private and public sectors with the goal of developing a roadmap of new approaches to increase export competitiveness.

Prime Minister Briceño said the Export Competitiveness Forum was part of Plan Belize’s goal of supporting an aggressive export strategy and Belize’s competitiveness.

He also stated that the forum was delivering on Plan Belize’s goals of “getting our products ready for export, creating new sustainable jobs and earning foreign exchange for national development.”
