By Rubén Morales Iglesias: SI World won the opening match in the Cayo Football Association (Cayo FA) Under 17 Football Championship on Saturday morning at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio.

SI World beat Regulataz 2-1 on two goals by Edison Johnson III. Johnson scored in the 24′ and the 30′.

Austin Perez converted the opening goal for Regulataz in the 6′.

Santa Elena Royal United won the second match 3-0 over San Antonio Little Texas. Marlon Meza Jr scored the opener in the 41′ and then Jahleel Bradley hit a brace in the 71′ and 84′.
