Body found under Big Falls Bridge identified as Leobardo Choc

By BBN Staff: A body, identified as that of Leobardo Choc of Hicattee Village, Toledo District; was found under the Big Falls Bridge in Big Falls, Toledo District this evening.

According to police, cops responded to reports of a body in the area around 4:45 p.m. and saw a Mayan man lying face down.

He was found 20 feet below the Big Falls Bridge in a black shirt and 3/4 khaki pants. He was also observed with an abrasion to the face.

The body was transported to the Punta Gorda Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival. The matter is under investigation.
