By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Despite the rain, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) continues upgrading the Santa Ana/Corazon Road in the Toledo District.
“It’s been a rainy few days in the country, but our crew has been able to make major headway on the Santa Ana/Corazon Road in the Toledo District,” said the MIDH in a social media post annexing photographs to show their work.
“There’s a lot more upgrading being done this week as we try to make this road safer and more comfortable for those who use it.”
Corazon Creek is a hub for surrounding villages as it is home to the Соrаzоn Сrееk Тесhnісаl Ніgh Ѕсhооl. During the rainy season, children and teachers find it difficult to get to school, so any work on the roads that make reaching Corazon Creek easier in that remote part of the country is surely good news.
