Media personality Javier Guttierez arrested for sexual assault

By BBN Staff: Popular media personality Javier Guttierez has been arrested and charged on a count of sexual assault following a report made by a co-worker last June.

According to reports, the victim reported that Guttierez allegedly put his hands under her shirt and touched her breast at the Belize Western Border where he worked as a site manager.

After the report was made, the matter had been under investigation and only recently concluded with a warrant being issued for his arrest last month. He has since gotten bail and is expected to be arraigned in court on June 2.

Some reports say another woman has also come forward with a similar allegation against Guttierez.

Guttierez is a popular media personality that has hosted television and radio shows.
