By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Prime Minister John Briceño on Thursday congratulated 12 Orange Walk women who completed the Women in Entrepreneurship Training.

The training was conducted by the Belize Trade & Investment Development Services (BELTRAIDE) under the auspices of the Ministry of Investment and in partnership with the Taiwan Technical Mission.

“PlanBelize is about empowerment of the people,” said the Prime Minister in a social media post.

“I congratulate these 12 women from Orange Walk on completing the Women in Entrepreneurship Training coordinated by BELTRAIDE.”

“Spurring development through the support of our people’s natural entrepreneurial spirit.,” he added.

Prime Minister Briceño also expressed gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Orange Walk Mayor Ladrick Sheppard, and Deputy Chairman of BELTRAIDE Ambassador Jaime E Briceno for the hard work and support of the initiative.
