Belize Weather: Fair weather prevails

Generally fair weather is prevailing according to the National Meteorological Service.

The forecast calls for sunny skies today with a few cloudy spells. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy. Showers will be isolated, though also expect inland afternoon thunderstorms to develop.

High temperatures are 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees inland and 84 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight range from 78 degrees along the coast to 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the northwest at five to ten knots. The sea will be slight with wave heights of one to three feet.

Tides are currently low. The next tide will be high at 1:20 this afternoon, followed by a low tide at 9:07 this evening.

Sunset takes place at 25 minutes past six this evening, and sunrise on Monday will be at 5:17 in the morning.

Expect similar weather conditions to prevail on Monday.
