Generally fair and warm weather conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service.
Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy to cloudy skies tonight. Isolated thunderstorms will develop over inland areas this afternoon, and then a few showers or thunderstorms will occur mainly over coastal areas tonight. Otherwise, showers will be isolated.
High temperatures are 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 96 degrees in inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees along the coast; 74 degrees in inland areas and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east to southeast at five to 15 knots. The sea will be light chop with waves of two to four feet.
Tides will be low this morning at 8:23 and this evening at 9:53 and high at 2:18 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:25 this evening and rises at 5:17 Tuesday morning.
The outlook for Tuesday and Tuesday night is for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop mainly over northern and inland areas during the day and then over southern and coastal areas during the night.
