Central Health Region continues COVID-19 vaccinations for 5–11-year-olds in the Belize District this week

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Central Health Region (CHR) continues its COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5 to 11 at schools throughout the Belize District this week.

Vaccinations at the different schools and mobile sites are being administered starting at 9:00 am and ending by 3:00 pm.

On Monday, June 6, vaccinations are being administered at All Saints Anglican School and Calvary Temple School in Belize City plus Burrell Boom Methodist School and St Therese RC School in Burrell Boom.

On Tuesday, June 7, vaccinations will be held at Lemonal and Isabella Bank Mobile Clinic, All Saints Anglican School, Salvation Army Primary School, Wesley Upper Primary School, Muslim Community Primary School, Ladyville Evangelical Primary School, and San Pedro RC School at San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.

On Wednesday, June 8, vaccinations will be administered at Grace Primary School, Buttonwood Bay Nazarene Primary School, and Holy Redeemer RC Primary School in Belize City. Vaccinations will also be done at Ladyville SDA Primary School in Ladyville, and Ambergris Caye Elementary School in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.

On Thursday, June 2, the Central Health Region will conduct vaccinations at the Hattieville Health Center, Holy Redeemer RC Primary School, the Rancho Dolores, Double Head Cabbage, and Bermudian Landing Primary Schools, the Burrell Boom Methodist Primary School, and the Caye Caulker RC School.

The Central Health Region said their fixed vaccinations sites at the clinics in the Belize District remain open for the public.
