Over 100 Belizean businesses participated in the Made in Belize Trade Show

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) hosted its 5th annual Made in Belize Trade Show on June 4, 2022, in Belmopan.

The Made in Belize Trade Show featured 105 micro, small, and medium-sized entrepreneurs, as well as established businesses such as Marie Sharp Fine Foods and Quality Poultry Products.

The BCCI said that visitors expressed their amazement at the uniqueness and quality of the products.

BCCI President, Marcello Blake expressed the need for policies to be put in place to create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive and create jobs.

Trailblazing entrepreneur Khadija Assales, owner of Kaj Expressions encouraged entrepreneurs to look at those challenges in a positive way to propel themselves forward.

Mayor of Belmopan Sheran Palacio welcomed the exhibitors and visitors to the City of Belmopan. Mayor Palacio also thanked the BCCI for choosing Belmopan to host the event.
