By BBN Staff: A Conch Shell Bay fisherman was arraigned in Belize City Magistrate Court on Monday on a charge of ‘abetment to theft’.
Anthony Myers, 25, appeared unrepresented in court and was read the single charge to which he pleaded not guilty. He was granted bail in the sum of $2,000 plus one surety of the same which he was able to meet.
Myers is accused of aiding another man with the commission of theft in relation to a camera with accessories including a bag and other valuables that were stolen from a vehicle on regent Street on June 3.
Myers is due back in court on July 25.
