By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro says that the U.S. decision not to invite him and the leaders of Cuba and Nicaragua is “discrimination”.

Maduro applauded the courage of the Mexican President, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador for choosing not to attend this week’s Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles. A decision that Lopez Obrador made after calling for the inclusion of all leaders in the region.

Maduro further said that the U.S. government “has ensured the summit would fail.”

The 9th Summit of the Americas is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
